Responsibilities & Duties:

A web designer job duties cover all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with clients and assessing their needs, web designers help create and maintain the product.

Their duties include, but arent limited to, the following:
-Develops website by planning, creating, and executing the design/layout Expertise in HTML/JavaScript
-Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
-Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to
effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
-Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
-Writing and editing content
-Designing webpage layout
-Updating websites
-Creating back up files
-Solving code problems

Requirements:

-Proven Web Design experience
-Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
-Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
-Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
