· Ensure the continuing operation and optimization of the servers, backup devices, Operating systems, email, printing, Windows update, virus protection, etc.

· Setup and maintain physical and virtual environments for Windows Servers, Linux Servers and test servers.

· Investigate, test, install and upgrade new and hardware/software products for servers.

· Continually review processes and procedures to ensure constant improvements in service performance and make recommendations to Regional IT Manager.

· Troubleshoot and provide accurate, creative solutions to technical problems on servers’ platforms while ensuring minimum down time & user satisfaction.

· Maintain system access, user accounts, passwords etc.

· Ensure staff is aware of current IT Policies and Procedures regarding the security and use of the systems.

· Assist Help-desk/User Support engineers in case of excess workload.

· Provide servers’ management including maintenance, administration and configuration of all server applications.
